Hello!  This is my 12th year at Sequoia and Redwood Academies.

At Sequoia Academy, I teach Ethnic Studies and US History for the 11th graders.  I also help our English Language Learner students. I also teach Ethnic Studies, US and AP US History at Redwood Academy. 

I love history!  In my classes we not only read about history using a variety of sources, but write about it as well.  We also complete many creative projects and various presentations.  My goal is to have all students prepared with critical thinking and writing skills for successful futures outside of high school.
